While being already proud of our IPA, we desired a beer, even Bigger, even Stronger, even more Explosive in aromas ! That is our IIPA all about. An Imperial India Pale Ale called " Fouriaris ", a word which in Crete refers to a free, untamable & uncontrollable, wild animal. Fouriaris is massive, forceful and its hops are about to fascinate you!

A little bit different to the Nøgne Ø version this one. A bit more herbal/grassy than normal. Or maybe it was because of my evening cheese. Shiny dark orange in the glass with a fine off white head. Fine pleasant intensity in the aroma. Solid body and a fine carbonation level. Dangerously easy to drink. Especially with 10 horsepower Good duration and a balanced bitterness/sweetness Solid malty backbone. Also grapefruit hoppy, fruity, pine and herbal/grassy flavor [Bottle Gry bought at Crete]

33cl bottle at Crop, Heraklion, Greece. Pours transparent, gold, with abundant white foam, very fine. Aroma is definitely citrus and tropical sweet. Body is dense with good carbonation and some stickiness. A mouthful. Taste is very bitter. Loads of bitterness (100 IBU). A bomb. More than some sweetness too. Finish is very long and intensely bitter.

On tap at U Fleku Garden, pours a clear copper orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out caramel malts and light resinous hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with resinous hops, caramel bready malts, and light toffee. A very malt-forward IIPA. It's decent.

Bottle from Beer24, Thessaloniki. Pours pale amber with a large off-white head. Aroma of floral hop, light citrus and tropical fruit, malt, caramel, grass, bread and pine. Medium sweetness and medium plus bitterness both of some intensity. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is floral with increasing sweetness. Whilst it may not be the best ever imperial IPA, it's a good beer.

330ml bottle bought at Brick’s ... Your Cretan Beerhouse, Rethymnon and brought back home to Norway. A pearl white head covering a hazy apricot coloured body. Lacing rings down the glass. Dried fruity aroma on a backbone of malty sweetness. Rich taste character of dried fruits, pine, and mid-sweet malts, followed by resinous bitterness to a long-lived ending. Well hidden alcohol. Full bodied. Nice sipper. (Shared with djoeye and Finn, Tromsø 31.08.2017).

would be easier to look up if imperial was in the beer name.hazy to clear yellow, smooth white head.crisp maty and hoppy aroma, bread, sweet notes, but still dry. flaver is very bitter hoppy, sweet malty, fairly plain imp ipa, at times sugary sweet. the hops seem to be more bitter than piny and grapefruity, bitterness is very high.

Thx to Kraddel! 330 ml. bottle split by 2. BBF 300917. Hazy orange, creamy white head. Nose is bit yeasty, pleasant old school pine resin with bitter grainy malt profile. Taste is creamy malt, oat, pine, bitter, lightly boozy, grainy malt, resin,... Pleasant old school bit malty pine DIPA,... Good malt body. Quite classical, possibly bit old but I rather enjoyed it so there is that.
