On tap at La Capsule, Lille, France. Listed as 6.8% so I assume it is this one. Dark brown to oily black, small head. Very nice fruity, dark caramel and bourbon. Prunes and spices. Soft toasty, even roasty component, but not burnt. Flavour is roasty, slightly burnt, nicely spicy, fruity, with dry black malts in the finish. Very nice malt character, good balance, nice dry finish. Creamy and oily texture, maybe not as smooth, light body, quite drinkable, I can see myself drinking lots of it.

330 ml. bottle. Bottled 03/16. Lighter black, nice deep mocha head that sadly fizzes away. Nose is umami, herbal licorice, painted wood & low licorice berries. Carbonation is touch lovely. Licorice syrupy body with strong umami qualities, touch thin, faint ashes, low licorice berries sweetness in the back that improves it a bit. Nothing stellar but decent enough for sure for a lower ABV umami stout. That name is brilliant.
