Bottle at home, courtesy of Marko, thanks a lot! Pours deep copper with an off-white head. Nose is fruity, boozy, nutty and toasted malty. Tastewise it’s pretty similar, but somehow kinda messy. The notes it shows are alright, but don’t seem to be at the right place. Closes with a long sweet finish, has medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of caramel, dried fruit, yeast, leather and meat. Pours cloudy ruby brown color with large soapy tan-like head, tiny yeast particles floating and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts moderate sweet malty and tart fruity, following is spicy, grassy and bready with faint tobacco note, mouthfeel is warm, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. I am not sure, whether tartness is intentional or coincidental…

Bottle, 0.33l. Coudy deep ruby/brown pour, no head. Lots of visible carbonation. Little to no lacing on the glass. Fruity nose, strong dried fruit notes, raisins, herbal and floral background. Quite interesting. Medium body, soft carbonation. Surprisingly watery texture, expected more thickness to it. Fruity bittersweet taste and aroma. Caramel malt, toffee. Dried fruits, raisins. Syrup, candy. Some yeasty notes. Mild spiciness. Medium lasting finish, dry, mild liquory. Not bad. Tasty but a bit lightweight for barley wine. Worth a try, though.

Tap from the tank at the brewery - will rerate in bottle or on tap ASAP! Misty brown body with an off white head, medium retention. Lovely, malty profile topped with fruity-estery touches, some spicy-propolis notes. Similar taste-wise, malt driven, lean, very well hidden alcohol, lightly nutty, maltiness, light esters, some spicy touches. All in all, very nice!
