Predstavljamo vam jedan rijedak stil kod nas, ali nimalo ne zanimljiv, imenom Frau Muller.
Kad smo planirali raditi Dunkelweizen odmah smo se odlučili da ga nećemo raditi sa bilo kojim kvascem, pa smo ubrzo posegnuli za jednim od boljih kvasca za weizene za kojega se govori da je soj od kultnog Schneidera.
Radi se o kvascu iz white labsa WLP 380.
WLP 380 nam daje arome klinčića, začina i muškatnog oraščića, nama je čak dao i malo vanilije i mrvicu banane.
Frau Muller nema previše alkohola, ipak je ona gospođa laganog, ali čvrstog tijela koja mami svojim mirisom.
Malo je mutna i lako se zaigrati sa njom, a ova jesen je idealna za njeno društvo.

On tap at the brewpub. Brown with off white head. Caramel, malty, some banana, moderate sweetness, soft carbonation. Medium bodied. Bit thin in finish.

Bottle, 0.5l. 5.2% ABV. Hazy deep amber/brown pour, one finger soapy off-white head. Short to medium lasting, minimal lacing on the glass. Very nice on the nose, sweet and nutty. Roasted malt, wheat. Some fruity touches in the background, very nice. Medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft and chewy, very nice on the palate. Sweet taste with mild bitterness in the background. Wheat, roasted malt, toasted, dark fruits. Nutty, hints of caramel. Cloves, mild banana notes, hints of chocolate. Mild lingering herbal spiciness. Short to medium lasting finish. Dunkelweizen done right. Quite a pleasant surprise.

Fakin. Murky dark brown, chestnut body. Creamy mild beige head. Dusty cloves aroma, sweetish. Creamy nutty tasty taste, very pleasant. Liiight wheaty tartness. Pleasant beer!

On tap at Low Beograd. Brownish coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, phenolic fruity nose. Light wheaty, spicy, notes of banana and light cloves with short sweetish finish. Drinkable but Mlinarica can do better.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown, reddish tint. Small lasting beige head. Aroma is pleasant ripe banana, light spicy phenols, banana bread, dark bread, fruit jam. Flavour is somehow spicy, cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread. Light body, spicy finish, balanced finish, just slightly sweet. Tasty, somewhat empty. Well done.
