Can. Huge creamy head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, chocolate, caramel, coffee, licorice, hops and has a nice long rich roasty finish.

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Roast and coffee. Creamy palate.

Can, 7.0%. Aroma of bitter coffee, perhaps a little raw liquorice. Almost black colour, seems unclear. Small frothy off-white head. The flavour is roasted with a good coffee note. More like chocolate in the finish. Not sweet and not dry. Coffee aftertaste.

Can. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of nuts and yeast, with malty touches and hints of leaves. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with notes of leaves and touches of yeast and malt. Bitter, leafy and and roasty aftertaste with estery touches. A nice one.

Bottle 0.33l, almost two years aged. Really dark red to black colored. AROMA- creamy, roasted malts, pralines, chocolate, coffee, earthy, floral, pleasant alcohol. FLAVOR- neutral to dry, moderately bitter, creamy and smooth, touch of alcohol, roasted, earthy, pralines, coffee, touch of licorice. Fuller bodied. Very good.

Can sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks troubles. Black, tan foam. Roast, some chocolate, licorice, sweetish, bitter finish, a bit of alcohol.

Eine neue Brauerei aus Tschechien für mich, die es leider noch nicht gab, als ich 2017 die Stadt Prostějov besuchte (dort aber eine tolle Wirtshausbrauerei fand). Die Axiom Brauerei gibt es angeblich seit 2019 und einer der Brauer ist Kjetil Jikiun, dem Gründer der ersten norwegischen Craftbrauerei Nøgne Ø. Es ist ein sehr trockenes und tiefgründges Porter, das nicht nur viel Alkohol hat, sondern auch Aromen nach Kaffee, Kakao und dunkler Schokolade -alles da! Man merkt, dass der Braumeister und seine tschechischen Kollegen Ahnung vom brauen haben.

ABV: 7.0%. Clear dark dark brown colour with a small large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, milk chocolate, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate, milk chocolate, light ash. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210326]
