750ml wired cork bottle from the Cider Cask Stall at Durham Christmas Market, Durham Cathedral Cloisters. 4.5%. Opened with a pop. Sparkling, orange gold colour, fizzy white foam head that quickly dissipates to a thin layer and aroma of fruity apple, caramel, custard. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, caramel, pastry, apple pie, bittersweet, with some drying tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Sampled at THT September. Clear golden with a nice ring of bubbles. Sweet apple, also some pear, light funk, soft barnyard notes, light mineral, earthy notes, dry apple peel. Almost medium sweet, quite light bitter and tart. Medium bodied. Nice.

Okay head, okay yellow colour. Sour apples on the nose. Taste is very sour apple with an extremely dry finish. Some smoke flavour, some weird aftertaste like sucking on a hospital blanket. Not bad, but you better like dry and sour ciders.
