Tap at the Schankhaus. Lightly hazy pale golden body, off-white head. Bit cardboardy, soft, yeasty, plummy aroma. Lean, dryish, slightly soft, slightly tart taste, mildly yeasty, cardboardy, grainy, herbal, weird light touch of alcohol, not much bitterness. Pretty underwhelming to tell the truth, but not sure anyone (relevant) ever called Freiberger great.

Tap in Dresden. Cloudy golden, strong white head. Clear grassy sweet. Veeeery soft, sweet tropical sticky soap. Flat, quite bitter, with a strong and heavy bitter sweet and oily aftertaste. Not balanced, damp, old.

On tap at Freiberger Schankhaus in Dresden. Looks really good. Starts mild but not washy, fine hoppy, not too dry. Finish woth flowery hoppy notes, a bit grasy. Well balanced fresh finish. Nice!

Hell herber und süßer Start. Gering, dafür aber konstant bitter, mit der Zeit wird die Malzigkeit intensiver, hell würzig, harmonisch. Gelungen würziges Kellerbier. 11/10/12/11//11 7

Draught @ the Freiburger resturant in Dresden. Pours yellow, hazy. Unclean malt, somewhat metallic bitterness. Citrus washing detergent notes.

Biggish offwhite lasting head. Hazy opaque deep yellow body. Fresh light mealy herbal aroma with fruity notes. Dry-sweetish herbal yeasty grassy taste, very harmonic, with fruity strawberry notes. Delicate, clean, light, fresh palate. Very soft and mild mouthfeel. Dry herbal grassy yeasty aftertaste. Very, very nice. I could keep gulping this down all night.
