Bottle from Geers. Murky hazy amber colour, creamy foam. Nose of citrus, lots of orange peel, bitter and dry hops. Very bitter and dry beer, hoppy, light citrussy fruitiness. Nice.

Bottle at home. Slight hazy light amber with a big fluffy beige head that leaves big patches and bubbles. Lots of orange on the nose. Quite some spicy yeast in a peppery way with some cloves and allspice. Sweet malts with soft rye. It has a nice balance between fruitiness, spicy bitter yeast and medium sweetness from the malts. Medium bodied with fizzy and quite present carbonation which works nicely here. I didn’t even know it had oranges in it until I read the label after a few sips, but they’re definately there. Nice beer.

An orange beer, a head is big and blond. OAroma has fruitness of oranges and tartness, spicyness and some fruit candies. Taste has strong fruitness with even some tropical notes, oranges and spicyness. At least medium bodied, lightening and quite smooth carbonation. Intensive with oranges. Tasteful.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, nr Gent, Belgie, consumed at home Saturday 26th November 2016 Hazy dark with a white head, orange comes through adding a nice citrusy bitter edge, dry and also a little numbing as it is a bitter saison. We both like this. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7

Huge, just yellowish head over clear orange-golden beer. Very spicy nose, with a hefty dose of aromatic hops - difficult to say what kind. Fresh, flowery, lupulin-rich. Something of orangepeel too. Dry, bitter, hoppy, citrussy - AND in (near) perfect balance, for a change. The bitter oranges give a true exotic touch, to me as kafir lime in a dish. Some astringency, but not disturbingly so. Light body, very good carbonation, slick. Ronald going from strength to strength. Never mind if this qualifies as a "Saison", it is just a great beer.

At MBF 2016. Pours unclear, hazy orange. Good white head ! Smell is very fruity, bit sweet. Taste is bit sweet, candy-necklace. Fruity, bit dry and crisp. Not as ’elegant’ as other beers from dochter, but very interesting and easy drinkin’ !
