"Schalander Rauchbier", vom Faß im Schalander, 13.2.2026. - Kupfergold, klar; Schaumringe im Glas. - In der Nase feinste Rauchnoten, Schinken über zartem Karamell, leise zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. - Antrunk tiefgründig hellmalzig und nur leise rauchig, Schinkenbrot, feine herbale Hopfung. Milder rezent, annähernd vollmundig. Im Abgang kaum noch als Rauchbier zu erkennen. - Unerwartet mild geräuchertes, dabei keineswegs langweiliges, vielmehr charakterstarkes Halb-Märzen-halb-Rauchbier. Gut!

Würzig malziger Beginn mit intensiven, leicht süßlichen Rauchnoten. Wenig herb, rund, etwas trocken, gelungen. 12/12/11/11//11

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small, dense and off white head. Aroma is mild beachwood smoked and caramelish. Medium sweet, wooden, ham, bacon and smoked. Medium dry, light bitter and toasted malty to a smoked note from back of the nose.

Draught at the brewpub. Interesting beer this, quite nice and refreshing, very little rauch though. Cloudy caramel colour with a thin white head. Aroma of malt and caramel with a faint smoked finish. Flavour is malt and the smoked notes are more in the aftertaste than the main flavour. As a beer nice, as a rauch beer a bit disappointing.
