750 ml. bottle @ home. Drank about half. Served very chilled. Clear sparkling, small bubbles rising. Nose is sweet apple juice, faint plastic, behind that faintest of funk but largely sweet apples, not very rich, almost leaning to candy-like. Taste is sweet very basic apple juice, ice cubes, faint plastic, almost skins, lacks any depth in apple profile, feels like very bland somewhat sweet apples,... Faintly sparkling. Okay if you want something sweet & almost NA.

Corked bottle, from a Nicolas shop, Paris
Pale bond color, hazy, with fine perlage and at least some head. The aroma is a strange mix of apple skins, glue, hazelnuts, plastic. The flavor is quite sweet, with some apple juice and plastic. Not interesting.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Golden in colour with plenty of fizz. Sweet, fresh apples with a short, dry finish. Not much character but an easy drinking thirst quencher.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s, Kidlington, Oxon had this 13-04-08 2006 vintage, Light golden with medium carbonation, bit too sweet but there is a nice juciy appleyness, can’t believe it’s only 2.5% even though it lacks on many fronts I would have still said 5%.

Whitish head for a few seconds; clear yellow-golden liquid. Dry apples, and appleleaves, or even appleblossom. Surprisingly delicate nose, applejuice beyond that. Sweet crunchy apples with a slight sourish underslung; some cheaper, easy sweet kind as cox orange. Sweet juice, enlivened by the high carbonation. Titilating, even gassy. Sweet, inoffensive cider that almost manages to make one forget its weakness in ABV.
