Stayed at the brewpub (above the Ice Cream Parlour) on 1st Aug 2018 and tried all four of their beers on tap that evening. Lost/found the tasting notes while tidying the house during the virus lockdown on 11th Apr 2020, so added this for my own reference rather than for others to take note of: red hue to the misty amber body, decent head. Light caramel front to the aroma and taste, therefore a bit sweeter than their Helles and for me a slightly better beer (I have a sweet tooth).

25-01-19 // taster at Internationale Grüne Woche - Messe Berlin. Amber. Mild sweetness. Minimal caramalts. Low bitter. Smooth.

Hell herber, wässrig würziger Antrunk. Geringe Bitterkeit, hintergründig malzig. Dann bitterer werdend, insgesamt aber eher schwach. 10/8/8/8//8

Vom Faß im Eiscafé des Burgbräuhauses Bad Belzig (als „Burgbräu Spezial“). - Rotgold, nur schwach trüb; stabiler Schaum. - Nase hefig grün mit etwas Karamel und feinem fruchtigem Hopfen. - Antrunk mild (aber nicht zu mild) orangenfruchtig gehopft. Leichte, angenehme Karamelsüße. Durchschnittlich rezent, angenehm schlank und frisch. Ausreichend grasig-hopfenherber Abgang. - Für ein Gasthausbrauereien-Erzeugnis ungewöhnlich gut. Die etwas „unreife“ Nase findet sich zum Glück nicht im Geschmack wieder; das Bier ist gut abgelagert, rund und süffig, vor allem aber aromatisch gehopft und ausreichend herb. Eine angenehme Überraschung.

Draught at the Christmas party. Hazy orange with with a thin cream head. Smooth caramel aroma and flavour. Nice
