On tap at Dax, pours a clear pale golden with a few bubbles worth of head. Nose has musty apple skins, light hay, and a touch of tannins. Flavour is dry and tart, with moderate acidity, light-to-moderate tartness, and a touch of apple core. Slightly more bracing than average but competently made.

25cl pour from a bembel sat on the bar @ Apfelwein Dax. Pours a misty pale gold. Crisp start, high juice, flat scrumpy feel, slight sourness, some apple core, apple skin, confident acidic linger. Decent, probably better if drunk in high volumes.

From tap at Apfelwein Dax in Frankfurt 03.08.21. Unclear yellow. No head. Refreshing sour aroma and taste of wild apples and apple peel. A bit waterish. Apple zest bitterness is lingering on.

5/8/2018. 0.3l vom fass at Apfelwein Dax. Pours hazy pale orange gold with no head. Aroma of medium sweet apples, caramel and very light herbal and woody notes. Moderate sweetness and tartness, doesn't have the same sour kick as others. Moderate body, slight oily texture, very soft to flat carbonation. Nice smooth bittersweet finish, I like this.

Spritziger da frisch säuerlicher Beginn. Die Apfelnoten sind weich und minimal rauchig, sehr süffig. Dann später leicht süß, die Apfelnoten bleiben konstant. Lecker! 10/9/11/10//10

13-01-17 // from a bembel at their pub in Frankfurt. Hazy yellow applewine. Sweet sour. Sour overweighs. Ripe apples. Dry mouthfeel. No carbonation. Good applewine.

Cloidy yellow. Aroma had apples. Flavor was tart wih natural apples and Woody hints. Finished sour.

Many thanks to McTapps for sharing! Very floral apples in the nose. The cider itself starts quite watery. Not much aroma there. Easy to drink with hints or sourish apples in the back, but not more. Very disappointing - tastes like diluted with lots of water. Nice tart cider apples in the aftertaste, but only very far away on the horizon. The rest is smooth water. Sad.
