Sample (thanks fonefan!). Honeyish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, some floral and mild nectary notes with a wee bit of zest and mild tobaccoish notes. Flavour is fruity, a bit tobaccoish and some toasted maltiness as well. Grainy and some floral notes in the finish and aftertaste.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Almost clear amber, small head. Floral, citrusy nose with some caramel. Dry with medium body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Toast and citrus. Long bitter finish. Solid.

ABV: 6.8%. Clear light medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light grain, light yeasty, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, pine - woody, tea, pale malt, sweet malt, dry. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210413]

Bottle. Clear dark gold with an ok head. Aroma of citrus fruits, some tropical fruits and grains. Taste dto plus some malts and bread. Dry Lager finish. Medium bitterness. Medium carbonation. It's alright I guess but I just don't understand the need for this style. Every time I have one of these I wish I had a Pilsener or an IPA.

29-02-20 // 330ml bottle at Sixties Mainz. 6.8% and 60 IBU for a lager is unusual, but that’s how you can play it as well. Good hop aromas. Well bittered. Smooth lager still though. Good one.
