Can. A black one, with a small dark beige head. The aroma has lots of caramel sauce, with alcohol, roasted malts, coffee, alcohol and a touch of dark dried fruit. It's full-bodied, sweet and warming, softly carbonated and with a flavor of coconut, caramel, roasted malts and dark chocolate. Lasting finish. Too sweet, but works well shared with two mates. 240831

Can 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a tiny, creamy, beige head. Sweet vanilla aroma atop some chocolatey roast. Rich, sweet chocolatey body - milk chocolate - again vanilla and so much more. Warming finish. Again, hard to dislike, neatly balanced. 270124

Can from Getränkefeinkost, Magdeburg. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, lactose, heavy caramel and chocolate. Flavor is very sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. I haven’t enjoyed Amundsen beers historically as they often come off too gimicky, but I liked the last black Amundsen I had, so I thought I would give this a go as well. Unfortunately it was more like the old ones. 101123

Tap@Bootleggers Craft Beer Bar - Nørrebro, Copenhagen (04/11/2023) - Sweet dark and light roasted malty, lots of sweet chocolate, cookie dough, caramel and fudge like sweetness, full body, light salted (or maybe it’s the salted popcorn) dark caramel infused sweet lingering malty close. Fun stuff.
