330ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasted malt and salted caramel. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, oily, liqourice, sweet caramel vanilla, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is cookie dough, chocolate ice cream, toffee, caramel. Taste is brown sugar, cookie dough, coffee, certainly salted caramel, sweet tobacco. Gullet caressing alcohol. These cats do this sort of thing so very, very well.

Can sample at a Yana's tasting at Max's place. Black. Condensed milk, butter, caramel, toffee, very artificial and candy-ish chocolate, sweet, sugary, a bit of bitterness.

Tap at 100 piv. Full body, medium carbonation. Lots of vanilla and buttery smoothness, which bothers me, detracts from the raw power of this beer. ABV is hidden expertly, only soft warmth in the background. Lots of butterscotch, chocolatey, caramelly malt character. Very focused on the sweetish buttery part. Hint of salt. Med-high sweetness and bitterness. Melta coffeeish taste. For me this fails to evoke salted caramel and evokes buttery toffee instead. Also lacking in the roast department. Not bad, but not great either.

330ml can Chez Sophie. Pours dark, good deep beige head. Silky smooth, salted caramel nudges out first with comforting chocolatey shades, no cookie notes. Full bodied, sweet but all elements singing nicely.
