Riemhofer Festbier, Flasche von REWE, Riedenburg. - Kupfergold, blank. - In der Nase satt karamellig-süßes Malz, Märzen-typisch, Banane und dezente kräuterige Herbe, zart chlorig. - Antrunk breit toastig-karamelmalzig und satt malzsüß mit nussiger Note, abgerundet mit säuerlicher Frucht (Weintrauben) und grundiert durch eher neutrale Hopfenherbe (leider Extrakt). Milder rezent, vollmundig, etwas hart im Mund. Im Abgang läßt das Bier stark nach, mit ausreichender aber nur matt krautiger Bittere und fies chlorig-metallischem Nachtrunk. - Trinkbares Festbier mit leicht billiger Anmutung. Wenn der fiese Nachtrunk nicht wäre ... (10.5.2019.)

(Bottle, 0.5 l, bought at Frizzz, 20130713) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, grass and hint of molasses. Palate was medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, paper, molasses and bitterness. Afteraste was malty and bitter. Not a bad brew but a bit dull and too high carbonation.

Bottle 0.5l. Thanks to mjs. BBE June 2013. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, malts, some hops and malts. Nothing special.
