Tap @ CBC2016. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of hazelnut, cinnamon, vanilla, sweet barrel notes, oaky, nutty, dark fruits, coffee, chocolate, fudge. Wow this smells amazing. Taste has lots of cinnamon, vanilla, fudge, nuts, chocolate, caramel, spice. Probably the best beer on the festival.

Bottle. Pours opaque black, small brown head, dissipates to a ring with decent lacing. Aroma is rich decadent mocha, cocoa, rich chocolate, loads of cinnamon, vanilla, bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet, light plus bitter. Adjuncts playing well together. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Fuck the haters.

Bottle 650 ml at Arrogant tasting, courtesy of Italian friends. Pours black with beige head. Lots of nuts, coconut, chocolate, some cinnamon, sweet, smooth. Fantastic aroma. Low carbonation. Medium to full bodied. Oily.

Bottle, shared by Pim @ Foeders. Black color. Short beige head with no retention. Aroma's: strong hazelnut, some cocos, roast, sweet, chocolate. Retronasal: roasted, coffee, hazelnut, cocos. Flavor is above moderate sweet, nutty. Body is really a bit too thin. Short finish, roasty nutty. I dodn't get much (any) barrel or cinnamon, but it was still very enjoyable.

(Tap sample @ CBC 2016 Blue Session, Copenhagen) Pours black with a dark tan head. Aroma is super, cinnamon, hazelnut, coconut, earthy medium roast malt, a touch of coffee, moderately sweet. Flavour is a little drier and less adjunct-happy than the nose, sweet toffee up front, creamy vanilla, light toasted nuts, a bit roasted, with more roast filling in towards the finish, a bit earthy, cinnamon builds into the finish as well and gives a slight tingling heat. Finishes rather dry and bitter. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Nose on this thing really slays, maybe the flavour could have backed it up a touch more but it's a solid adjunct stout.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Oh, this smells soo good! Christmas cocoa cookies with chocolate. A ton of grinned coconut here. It has a deep dark brown colored body and a small dark brown head on the top. Makes me hungry just smelling at it. Super biscuity, "Gjedne" cookies with chocolate. Much the same in the taste, and exactly the same in the aftertaste! Nice! Thick and oily in the mouth and it's soft prickling on the carbonation. Chocolate and biscuits - who doesn't like that. Imagine a bottle of this for yourself.13.05.2016

Taste is more of the nice hazelnut chocolate sweetness roast bourbon barrel vanilla. This was the best day of the week.
