330ml can at 5.4% ABV from Beru Vykhodnoy in Moscow. Pours a beautiful cleat deep gold, almost amber with a small white head. Aroma is bread, caramel malt, brown sugar. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, yeast, bread.

330ml bottle at home. Pours a lovely light brown with red hues, medium off white head that dissipates quickly, a little more carbonated than I’d like, the style is known for being easy to drink. First impression of the flavour is overly sweet, brown sugar and bready biscuit, leaves a cloying finish.

Bottle. Clear Amber with a thin head. Aroma is sweet malt. Flavour is heavy sticky sweet malt, toffee and a little spice. Way too sweet for me.

Bottle from Bradley’s, Cork [291114]
Dark caramel amber, frothy orange white head, clear, some lacing
Aroma of fruity caramel malts, soft sweet fruits, brown sugar, dab of raisin
Taste of brown caramel malts, mainly malts, dab of toasted malts, soft toffee, slight spicy hop, dab of raisin
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, bit oily, light sweet palate. Finish of soft fruity caramel, sweet toasted malts
Overall - Not bad for a Marzen
