For our last collaboration of 2018 we invited back our good friends Sam from Boxcar and Bates from Duration to cook up something with us. Equal parts hoppy and funky, this Farmhouse IPA is lightly soured and fermented on a blend of saison and Bruxellensis Trois yeast, with a massive dry hop of Styrian Wolf and Dragon.

Can from Hoptimism. Earthy pine aroma. Hazy pale gold. Frothy translucent white head. Light-medium sour. Possibly skewed by the chicken Achari I've just scoffed. Zesty citrus. A touch of bitterness into the dry finish. Some Saison-esque spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Enjoyable.

15th December 2018 Can. Fairly light haze gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly crisp. Very light malts. Nice lightly tart lemon goes well with the Sorachi subtones of Styrian Wolf and Styrian Dragon. Floral lemon. Pine. Mild skunk. Light crisp finish. Nicely done! Crisp, lemony and refreshing.

440ml Can - Golden/light amber. Peach, apricot, aniseed and notes of aniseed in the aroma. Tart, hoppy and tangy taste with peach, apricot, grapefruit and some musty notes. Not really my bag but it's ok.
