Beer Meister is dedicated to the mastership of a beer brewer. This beer of rich amber colour has been created by a brewer of the new generation Giedrius Valancius. Studeis in Berlin Beer Academy and communication with lots of real masters of beer brewing, constantly creating and looking gor their own receipes of beer, inspired Giedrius to create a beer recipe of his own. On the basis of one of beer recipes written at the time Giedrius started creating beer uniting the power of his favourite sort of Lithuanian malt and German Hellertauer aromatic hops. As a tribute for its German and Lithuanian springs the beer was named after a name understandable for both nations representatives- Meister. Such name reflects Giedrius’ conception of beer brewing: "It takes much more than one year to create good beer, however, passion for work and belief in the work you are doing ransoms for everything. What’s the sense of much talking about beer, it must be tasted- the work praises the master and not vice versa".

500ml can as Fortas Meister Rusinis (I assume it’s the same beer) from Bliznetsy in Moscow. Pours gold with a small white head. Aroma is simple: grain and malt. Taste is malt, bread, grass, light bitterness. Bland but drinkable.

Bottle from Super Lincs, Lincoln. Typical pale lager colour and aroma with a very rough taste. No where near a good beer.

56,8cl can from Maxima, Vilnius. Pours clear pale golden with a white head. Grainy and malty aroma with light fruity notes and hints of caramel, grass and cooked vegetables. Fairly standard pale lager, but not the worst kind. Fairly moderate sweet with grainy flavours and a fairly light bitterness. Drinkable enough, but far from interesting. Just another industrial pale lager. --- Beer merged from original tick of Fortas Meister on 31 Oct 2014 at 19:00 - Score: 4

568ml can - thanks to kevnic2008! Smooth fresh beginning. Grain, malt, slightly sweet with no distinct bitterness. Fresh, hints of dust. The aftertaste is smooth grainy, fresh, malty, not too deep but flavourful!
