Fra fat på liten uteplass midt i turist løypa i Mtskheta: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. En nøytral eurolager som imidlertid smakte fortreffelig i solsteiken i 27c.

Jasne słomkowe, doborze nagazawane , w smaku lekko kwaskowe , głównie słodowe goryczka delikatna, całkiem przyjemne.

Bottle. Brilliant gild. Virtually no head. Nose: skunk, grainy malts, a hint of spicy hops. Light body. Taste: skunky. Neutral malts. Light minus spicy bitterness. A eurolager of its own.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Stas. Golden, white head. Grainy, grasssy hops, with some skunkiness, malt, a bit bready, bitterish finish, quite light-bodied. One of the better Georgian lagers I've had.

Bottled 500ml (from shop in Batumi). Golden colour, small white head. Grassy, cardboardish, a bit even skunky aroma. Light-bodied. Grassy, lightly malty flavour with lurking skunkyness. Should be better superfresh from tap but now another Georgian low standard lager.

50cl bottle from a minimarket in Lagodekhi. Clear pale golden with a white head. Mild malty aroma with notes of grass and herbs. Feels fairly clean and crips with light, but noticeable bitterness too. 500ml bottle found in Tbilisi’s old town. Pours clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grass, grain, notes of sulphur. Taste is pale malt, light bitterness, herbal hops. One of the better Georgian macro lagers that I have tried.
