Luvanium Cuyt is inspired by the Cuyt beer that was first brewed in Leuven around 1440. It would become the main beer of Leuven residents for centuries. It is a cloudy, white, refreshing, spicy beer brewed with 45% oats, traditional floor malt, raw wheat and Belgian hops. This unfiltered top-fermented beer is refermented in the bottle and has an alcohol content of 6.5% vol.

F: thin, white, not long lasting. C: blonde, light hazy. A: malty, fruity, peach, sugary, bit yeasty, bit herbal. T: malty, fruity, peach, spicy, sweet grassy, coriander, bit orange peels, dry on the palate, not so sweet as I expected from aroma, light to medium body, medium sharp carbonation, quite refreshing, 33cl bottle from Prik & Tik Leuven.

Flesje gedeeld door Benzai. Bleek gelig bier met weinig schuim. Aroma is vlak. Smaak is moutig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Bottle shared @ tasting. Hazy unclear yellow color with some yeast residu floating in it. Average sized white head. Smell and taste wheat, malts, herbal / spicy sweetness, a hint of grapes / grapepeel. Meh, don't like it.

Fles gedeeld door Benzai, geprobeerd met Inoven en Roelzie1986. Het is een licht geel bier met een dunne schuimkraag. Het heeft een zoete licht zure smaak.

On tap, @BBF 2017, Barcelona 26/03/17 Cata Lovaina Color amarillo dorado, aromas especiados con final citrico, el sabor citrico, cuerpo ligero.

Hazy pale golden colour, tall macropore fizzy white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma malts, grain, lemon, yeast. Taste medium sweet and light bitter and a light sourish touch, herbal notes. Dry fruity aftertaste, herbal, bit husky. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, fresh and decent summer beer .

Hazy straw blond with thin, bright white head. There’s a touch of green apple and banana sweetness. Smooth, light and refreshing.

23/04/2016 sample glass shared with the BE RB crew @ZBF2016. Light yellow, small head. Sweet light summer hops, little sourness, some banana.
