1.5 litre PET bottle. The name of this one translates as "Austrian Recipe White". Pours translucent yellow (despite being filtered) with a medium-sized soapy white head. Faint aroma of wheat, citrus, stale malts. Taste is slightly bitter and grainy, somewhat artificial despite the normal ingredients. Light bodied. This is one of those strange pale lager-witbier hybrids (wheat lager?) that only seem to exist in Russia. Nothing to do with Austria, that’s for sure. Not my cup of tea.

Revisited from 1L PET bottle: grains, spices, white bread, butterscotch both on nose and tongue. A spiced lager? Totally different. And poor for sure. Earlier rating: Draught. Cloudy straw yellow, rocky dense head. Good retention. Leaves thick spots on glass. Vague aroma of leathery yeast, spice, sweetish fruit. Light to medium body. Thin to oily. Bittersweet taste of white bread, spicy, light bitterness along. Despite the ridiculous name (why Austrian recipe?) a decent one.
