Can 500 ml (Barbarossa Helles Hefeweizen). Turbid honey-yellow, with normal foam. Aroma: barley malt, wheat toast with syrup, the lightest hint of spices. Taste: watery, clean, wheat and yeast, light sweetness. Average weizen.

Pours honey yellow, cloudy, tall dense rocky head. Average retention, lacing present. The nose combines phenols & fruity esters of yeast with banana unfurling while the beer temperature rises. Light body. Thin texture. Medium carbo. Dry flavour. Spicy yeast plays its main part. White bread. Banana in the background. The ending is even drier & more bitter. So is the aftertaste. All in all neither an achievement nor a disappointment.

500ml can. Pours hazy yellow with a medium-sized white head. Aroma of fresh banana and wheat. Taste is fruity and not overly sweet. Better than expected.
