Dark brown to black colored, medium beige creamy head, nice lasting and lacing. Aroma is of some chocolate and roasted malt but strong citrus and floral pungent hops. Taste is medium sweet caramel malt, chocolate and roasted malt, medium- citrus and floral hops aroma and medium+ bitterness, dry roasted and citrus dry-hoppy finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, resiny. More aromatic hops and it’s golden! (on tap, Craft rePUBlic, Moscow)

BOTTLE 50 CL from magicmn. Black with ruby highlights and a frothy tan head. The aroma is got hops with notes of sweet fruit, sweet citrus (oranges?), maybe some pine that melts with the sweetness to create that minty freshness. Still, the malts dominate. And it’s not just caramel, there’s more - dried fruit, prunes, dates. The taste is similar, with some hops and lots of died fruit malts. It tastes quite sweet, but the finish is bitter enough and the body is drinkable enough to stay an IPA. A Brown IPA! Despite the color, not roasted malts or coffee.
