47cl bottle at Fat Cat Café, Karakol. Pours caramel coloured with a dissipating off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel and hints of hops. Medium sweet with a fairly decent bitterness. Quite okay. --- Beer merged from original tick of Tinkoff Avtorskoe English Ale (Тинькофф Авторское Английский Эль) on 20 Sep 2019 at 20:49 - Score: 5

Biscuit malts and floral hops on nose. Light body. Semidry taste. Light to medium bitterness. It is really what a pale ale is. Decent

500ml bottle from a supermarket in Moscow. Pours light brown with a small white head. Aroma of hops, pine. Long bitter finish. At 175 roubles it's three times more than your average Russian beer (and around the price of a Russian craft). The guy below said that its "very far from an English ale". Well this is an English pale ale. Two completely different things. This is not bad stuff. Stands out from all the Zhigulyovskoes.
