Dark brown, almost black, weak non lasting head. Aroma roasted, black malt and coffee. Taste has some sweet chocolate and caramel with constant roasted malt background and a burnt toast with coffee dry finish with somewhat lasting aftertaste. Medium bodied and a bit creamy. Actually very nice and I like it. This is my 3rd bottle and the first one was spoiled and mostly sour, second was somewhere in between. This one has no notable sourness nor acidity of roasted malts so it depends on the bottle I guess. All brews from this brewery have this problem it would seem. A shame since they are so far away from most Russian brews if there were no spoilage...

500ml bottle from local bottle shop. Pours black with a minimal tan head. Aroma is coffee and some roastiness. Dominating flavour is coffee, besides that there's some smokiness. If you can get past the sourness this is a nice beer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Alexey and Refaela’s place. Thanks Stas. Dark brown to black with a beige head. Sourish aroma with a bit of olives, some roast and a coffee note. Sourish and fruity flavor with some roastiness. Medium-bodied. Seems off.
