Doobie is a passion fruit Gose.

Soured over 4 days in the kettle using our house lacto-strain and salted in the boil with Pink Himalayan rock salt.

It was fermented through before being blended with a mountain of passion fruit.

It’s a BBQ summer party in a can. Puckeringly sour, delightfully salty and beautifully fruity.

Goes well with L-I-V-I-N.

Can at home from Clapton Craft Kentish Town. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with no head. Aroma is lovely big bold passion fruit, mango, wood, five alive, tangy. Flavour is composed of sharp tangy passion fruit, mango , lime, zesty prickly citrus, zippy and sharp. Little woody tannin. Palate is super sharp, spritzy semi sweet, sour, mid pucker, highish carbonation. Lots of fun.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours clear honey-gold with a small, fizzy white head. Pretty tasty tart passion fruit character, moderate acidity, some lemon, nips of salt. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Quenching finish, more bright passion fruit, melon, lemon, salt, cleansing acidity. Solid.

Faulty keg, so it's really flat but still really yummy!

Can from Oddbins. Appearance - hazy orange. Quite flat. Nose - pungent hops, like cannabis or even fenugreek. Iodine. Not much fruit, but then it's a gose. Taste - a hint of citrus fruit, but not getting passion fruit. Definitely sour and salty though. Palate - close to medium bodied, sour and tangy through middle and finish. Overall - definite gose base but not sure re the passionfruit. Cheek implosion! Very challenging.
