Bottle from Total Wine in San Jose, CA. (Stevens Creek). Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of dark toasted malt, perhaps with a touch of chocolate. Med body, and perhaps a bit more. Flavor is dark toasted malt with a little chocolate. Not dry, but far from sticky. Burnt malt bitter. Over all it's a decent schwarz.

Bottle. Pours a clear black color with garnet highlights and a thin tan head with poor retention. No lacing. Slight dark chocolate aroma. Flavor of dark roasted malts and maybe a hint of cocoa /coffee. Short finish. Very clean mouthfeel. A little thin body. No carbonation or bitterness. Simple and one dimensional profile, and very good.
