Captain's Log: There she is, floating in the air. Her name is Ruby, the supreme geisha of Uarr Space Station. From the Yakuzanta headquarters she oversees that Yarr runs smootly. It's also here that she runs her tea room, The Cherry Orchard. I only met her once but she has been in my mind ever since. My heart sends out distress signals to Cupid, she's all I want for Christmas.

Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Clear cherry. Some bitter almond, stones. Pinching sourness, killing almost everything around it. Dries your gums while drinking. Extreme and good. Brett, lacto, and who needs yeast anyway. I like.

Has a very intense deep red colour. Aroma and flavour of sour cherries. It stays tart right through to the finish.

Gushing to flamingo head over fully hazy ruby beer, with bits of fruit accumulated on the bottom. Vinous, intense cherry nose. Sweet-sour, cherries to the core. Finish is a tad lame -,compared to the fruitonslaught so far. Fruit-filled, light body, lipsmacking acidity. Far from bad, but everything hints to an overdose of cherries, I fear.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled bottled @ Gents Bierfestival 2016. Super bright red pink with bits floating in it, little pink head. Nose is very big red cherry, lightly spoiled & fermenting sweet cherry. Taste is milky red wine, massive cherry, huge sweet cherry with pits & some fermenting red cherry,… Soft carbonation. Largely just fermenting sweet cherries. Pretty neat.

HUGE GUSHER!
Cloudy deep ruby red beer full of debris, all small chunks of cherry in the beer, big creamy pink head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: that's a lambic all right! Lots of real cherries, krieken even, enormous fruity smell, fantastic all those cherries, some marzipan. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of cherries, wow, sourish, lemon juice, some tannins, lovely flavours. Aftertaste: very fruity, cherries, some marzipan, soft tannins. Great one, except for the huge gushing, holy cow, what's that all about!

Bottle shared at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Lovely deep red with a small pink head. Aroma of lots of cherries, funk, a bit medicinal, yogurt, a bit of sulphur. Sour flavor, funky, with lots of juicy cherries, lacto, a bit acidic in the throat. Medium-bodied. Great.

Bottle. An unclear ruby red beer with a dense, finger thick candy pink head. There’s lots of cherry on the nose, with some cherry pits and a funky touch. Sort of meaty too. It’s tart, dry and nicely carbonated, full to medium bodied, with mostly cherries in the flavor. As in the aroma there’s some almondy cherry pits and a nicely lightly lemony and farm-ish funkyness. Lasting tart and funky cherry finish. A tasteful and pleasant beer with lots of good flavors. 160617

Draft sample @ Haand fest ’16, Drammen. Shared with the Norwegian tasting crew.
