500ml bottle from The Bay Hop, Colwyn Bay. Looks the part, deep chestnut amber, relatively clear with a sparse off-white topping. Aroma brings moderately sweet caramel malt. Continues to taste, good rich moderately sweet malt with integrated marmalade dried fruits and a cool bitterness. Very good Welsh bitter.

Gravicask, shared with Finn at the 24th Carmarthen Bees Festival. Hazed dark brown body, beige head, spotty lacing. Brown malty aromas, dry. Dark caramel flavours, hints of dried fruits. Roasted malty bitterness to the ending. Nice. (Carmarthen 04.10.2018)

At the Lansdowne Hotel, Cardiff August 2016. Deep copper in colour, with a moderate, off-white, head. A malty bitter, with some tangy fruit, hedgerow hops and caramel, leading to a decently bitter finish. Ok.

500ml bottle: BBD 1 Sep 2015, poured into a UK pint sleeve on 22 Apr 2015. Obtained from a small village shop in Myddle, Shropshire. Good looking beer, clear chestnut/mahogany body with a tanned topping. Malts lead the way in the nose and taste with a pleasant hop bittering finish. Toffee flavoured with a good fruity feel. Solid and flavoursome, the 4.6% ABV suiting it’s body depth and palate nicely.
