Our flagship pale ale, refreshing, citrusy, with spicy herbal bitterness finished with floral and zesty aroma. Brewed using traditional Maris Otter pale malt together with a blend of British First Gold and American Cascade hops.

I'll be making my closest approach to Wales in 2025 tomorrow - just one mile from the border, so it seemed appropriate to raid the cellar for this one bought there a couple of years ago. Golden in colour with a very traditional taste for these isles, it's a hoppy pale ale with a fair bitterness to it.

A 500ml bottle from the brewery. A enjoyable pale ale, citrus flavour & a nice level of bitterness in the finish. Different bottle of beer in my home No. 2033

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Opalescent, orange golden colour with small to average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral hoppy and minimally grainy, pale malty aroma, hints of petals. Taste is minimally grainy, pale malty with some residual and mildly bitter, floral hoppy, hints of petals.
Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, soft, mildly prickly carbonation.
Simple and monotonous - not that impressive.

Clear and golden with a frothy white head and sweet, light malt and a touch of lemon on the nose. Sweet biscuity flavour, hints of honey and sweet florals, just a hint of floral bitterness in the finish.

Golden pour with a very small white head. Nose is malt and lemon/citrus. Taste adds herbs and a decent bitter finish. Not bad...

Slightly unclear pale golden colour, small fizzy off-white head, light lacing. Aroma pale malts, white grapes, pineapple, light tangerine. Light taste, medium sweet and light bitter, malty, fruity, biscuit. Sweetbitter aftertaste, earthy and peppery notes. Medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, nice and simple, easy to drink.
