Can - Grains and a bit of the Euro style skunk. Clear gold with a bubbly thin head. Pale, light, flavorful for a pale lager, but still a pale lager.

ChrisO’s Pre GBBF ’Are You Scottish?’ tasting. Paleish gold beer, little white head. Light dry pale malt, slightly papery. Tiny bit of citrus. Finishes light and dry.

Originally rated May 2005. Poured a light yellow colour with not bad retention. There was big bubble carbonation at the bottom of the glass. The nose was of metallic scents with mild malt. The mouthfeel was flat and smooth. Tasted mostly corn with very slight bitterness. Refreshingly clean, but a clear dissapointment.

Yellow carbonated body, no head. Soft aroma of orange peels and hops, but not in a good way. Flavour is well-balanced malts with dry hops and a dry finish, this beer’s saving grace. But even after that, it does not excel beyond the middle of the pack.

A pretty tasteless beer. Sours after a few sips, unremarkable. I guess they just market themselves on the dutch name thing, hoping people like me think it’s something better... On tap

Canette 473ml.

(473 ml can) light amber colour; medium white head; aroma: hint of apricot, grain; taste - weak, watery, still clean and refreshing, just not much character and no depth

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color lager with a big pure white foamy head with medium retention and no lacing. Aroma if quite refreshing with a light sweet malt profile. Taste is also quite one-dimensional with some medium sweet malt and very subtle floral notes. This beer was as easily drinkable as it is easily forgettable.
