Double Ochame delivers a hop-forward and delicious experience by amplifying the aromatic and flavour qualities of our beloved flagship Green Tea IPA. Due, in part, to a liberal Mosaic dry-hopping, it showcases luscious, ripe stone fruit and a pleasant floral and herbaceous note from the addition of green tea, which was picked from our brewmaster's field in Japan. This is a beer that contains both restraint and excess - all with the intention of making you demand another.

Can. Nose is tea, lemon, sugar. Bright clear golden color. Minty tea flavor, marshmallow, somehow reminds me of a matcha latte. Interesting and fun.

Slightly hazy golden color. Nice thick frothy white head. The nose shows some tropical fruit, citrus, green tea and cracker. Dry palate, fairly bitter. Green tea never dominates but that is ok. Balanced. Nice but not outstanding

Can. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, a good fine crispness. Thin malts bring a reasonable creamy sweetness. Skinny and slightly savoury Mosaic hope, surprised to find a touch of diagnostic Mosaic blueberry here and mild tropical fruits, surprised because this hop rarely shows up with a fraction of it's former glory. Crisp pine and a fairly well integrated green tea floral, um, green tea thang! Semi dry crisp finish Entertaining.

A hazed golden DIPA with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with loads of citrusy floral hops and honey. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with honey, resinous and piney hops, very nice. On tap at Bar Lupulus.

On tap at Godspeed, pours a cloudy bright orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out subdued green tea, earthy hops, and bready malt. Flavour is much more hop-forward than the regular Ochame, with bitter citrus hops, earthy notes, and subdued green tea. Again, I wish the green tea was more prominent. The hops are more forward here, but it still has a rather muted character. Not too enthralled with this.
