Can at The High WyCum tasting, Chez Bois, thanks to Kenwold 05/11/16. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is lemon sherberts, straw, light funk, gooseberry. Taste comprises funky citrics, straw, lemon rind, pissy citrics, balsa wood, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering effect. Nice easy drinking sour.

Can shared in High Wycombe. Pours unclear gold with a fine, frothy white head. Nice peachy tartness in the nose, lemon. Light sweet flavour with some juicy lemon, mellow acidity, white grape, pale bread. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more juicy citrus, moderate tang, lemon, white grape. Fun stuff.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Pretty hazy, pale, golden amber. Foamy, bubbly, glossy topped, white head. Nose has lemon juice. Sour orange. Sourdough bread. Some rose petal type floral notes. Some earthy, woody herb. Taste is fairly dry with an apple cider vinegar sharpness. Just enough biscuit sweetness keeps things in balance. Light body. Cleansing and sharp. Nice balance of sweet and sour on the finish. Lovely.

Can. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lime, grass and minerals. Flavour of green apple and a metallic bitterness. Thin body with a frothy texture. Light fizz. Lacks the drinkability of other Chorlton beers I’ve tried.

330ml can shared with RichtheVillan at his Welfare Pad. Many thanks! Pours hazy gold, thin white head. Lemon sherbet aroma, continues to taste with a tart juicy tang. Restrained sourness, with soft floral lemon taking the fore.
