Sweetish, boozy and heavy with some licorice, roastiness, chocolate and cocoa, hints of vanilla, licorice and earthiness. Intense.

Refrigerated pint bottle poured into a glass. Black with small light brown head. Aroma is nice bourbon, thick body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is nice bourbon, chocolate, and wood.

Bottled (shared by Mats, thanks!). PItch black colour, creamy brown head, which leaves lace. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, some slight spices, chocolate, mild vanilla and wood with some roast to it as well. Flavour is dried fruits, liquorice, chocolate, wood, some alcohol and mild roasted notes to it. Rather bodied and complex. Alcohol is surprisingly wellhidden, even though it gives quite a nice warming feel to it. Expensive as hell at Alko, but at the same time I'd be ready to say well worth the almost 45 euros it cost for a bottle.

Finally having this beer which I've been saving up for a while, now having it to celebrate my brother's 40th birthday! Pours black with almost no head. Aroma is chocolate, intense bourbon, vanilla, oak, dark malts. Big body, smooth. Flavour is sweet and malty with a very pronounced oak and bourbon flavour. Booze and light heat even.

Bottle sample at a Yana's tasting at Max's place. Black. Lots of bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, some soy sauce, alcohol, sweet, a bit umami, full-bodied. Boozy but still very good.

Damn delicious high octane syrup. Hints of booze and lingering heat but otherwise undetectable abv. Figs and chocolate galore. Thank you Art D. ! Heaven hill barrel shines here.
