Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark brown colour. Aroma of bread with a hint of coffee. It has the malt and bread notes expected in a Brown Ale, without the earthy character at times given by the coffee, and with a lot of delicate fruity esters that make this brew particularly enjoyable.

Nice roast and nutty brown notes. Jet brown with a decent light brown head. Roast and nutty with some nice coffee notes.

On tap at Hopwired, pours a cloudy dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma brings out earthy coffee and some caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with caramel, coffee, and bready malt. Lots of caramel and coffee. Good stuff.

Can. Dark brown body. Toasty, nutty, with a lot of coffee on the nose. The palate is the same, moderately sweet, lightly bitter and with a bit of coffeeish sourness in the finish. It's fairly heavy on the coffee overall.
