This popular edition in our “Street” series of India Pale Ales spotlights the remarkably complex Mosaic hop. Melcher Street is hazy, pale orange in appearance and emits aromatic qualities of grapefruit, mild-earthy pine, and mango on the nose. Dank flavors of pine and green hop, along with juicy notes of tropical fruit, melon, and peach, are accentuated with crisp malt character, mild bitterness, and a soft, effervescent mouthfeel.

Can shared at tasting. A bit unclear yellow color, white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, tropical fruit hoppiness, light dank hops. Very solid.

On tap at Trillium Brewing Company, Fort Point, Boston, Mass, USA. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, orange, mango, pineapple, tropical fruit taste and aroma. Very decent IPA from Trillium.

On tap at Trillium on the Common. Hazy orange gold pour. Aroma of orange and papaya. Flavor follows nose. Mango papaya, orange, tangerine and so much more. Simply devine.

Pours a lovely hazy gold from a can. Brilliant citrus and maybe some lychee? In the nose. Similar flavor, hoppy burn. Incredibly drinkable. Great beer.

(On tap @ Birreria Volo, Toronto, Sept 28/19) Limited notes due to post-Witchstock revelry. Solid enough DIPA, very dank and a bit bready, but felt a little stale and overly malty without the hop brightness I expect from Trillium. Feels like all the Trillium kegs were a little mistreated?

473ml can, brought back from Boston by my sister. Hazy orange, off-white head. Aroma of pine and ripe citrus fruits, peach, mango. Taste is very juicy, fruity, grapefruit, orange, mango, peach, earthy pine, malts, bitter finish. Medium body. Great IPA.
