355mL bottle, pours black with a large tan head. Nose has some indications of a brett infection, toasted malt, and some earthiness. Flavour is a little better, but does have some burnt rubber, with medium roast in back. There’s definitely something wrong here.

Poured from 355mL bottle. Very dark brown with full beige head. Aroma has some dry brett-like infection notes with lots of roast. Dry and bitter roast taste. Above average Mexican imperial stout.

Dark brown. Has that coffee and infection type of aroma. Toasty on the palate...not showing nearly the same signs of infection, actually. Just big roasty, lots of bitterness. Ends up being decent.

355mL bottle. Pours black with a beige head. Cacao and stale bready malts on the nose. Flavour has very dry malts, a phenol-like character that makes it unpleasantly bitter. There some roast and malts, but there's something very wrong here.

Intensiver, malzig herber Beginn. Nuancen von Schokolade, die Malzigkeit bleibt angenehm. Intensiv bleibend, mittellanger Abgang. 10/11/10/10//10

Sampled at Hop the Beer Experience 2, pours a dark brown, black with plenty of sticky, brown head. Big nose, chocolate, coffee grounds, toast, molasses, nutty, some dried fruits, palm sugar even. Flavor is similarly nice, malty, sweet, nutty, chocolate syrup, tootsie rolls. Full bodied, slightly sweet, roasty finish. Nicely done.

Bottle at the DC Spring RB Tasting. Poured a cola color with a small tan head. Aroma was smooth chocolate, light roasted malts. Bitter roast, with a slight smoke character. Dry finish. Pretty good.

Roast and caramel. Booze and some light coconut. Black pour with good head and lacing. Some smoke. Pretty good balance. Bitter smoky finish. Family dry which I like. Bottle.

A deep dark stout with a thin dark brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light grassy hops, dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with loads of licorice, alcohol warmth, dark fruits, very nice. On tap at 12 Onzas.
