330ml bottle. Opalescent, orangey golden to amber colour with average, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity hoppy and herbal-fruity spicy, woody aroma, notes of oak, gin, a touch of juniper berry, some mandarine, orange, quince, unripe peach, biscuity, pale malty background. Taste is dry, citrusy, fruity hoppy, slightly woody and herbal-fruity spicy, notes of lemon, lemongrass, hints of gin, juniper, a touch of oak, biscuity pale malty basis with subtle, residual sweetness, even a touch of grape sugar, some mandarine and orange in the finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium to fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Very nice composition, harmonious and balanced, surprisingly light, fresh, drinkable, not too dry - very good.

Bottle 1132 out of 1600. Fruity and slightly sour beginning. Very dry, hints of smoke and herbs. Deep dry, the herbal spirit is there, the dry beer malty in the back, very dry, but a bit unbalanced.

Bottle purchased up from Craftbeer-Shop.com Webshop. I had this Thursday 19th March 2020 at home Attenkirchen, listening to the 6Music and cooking Spaghetti Bolognese. Pours hazy dark gold/light amber with a white head. I am unsure what Wermutt Fass is (Absinthe?) I mention this as there is a translation of wormwood in and amongst the description. It is certainly woody, highly perfumed, and whilst not completely complimentary to the base beer, certainly interesting. Yes interesting.

0,33 l bottle 0084/1600 from their Lagerverkauf on fridays. Again a gusher by opening. But I can handle it. Unclear pale copper in the glass and now with a small head. Little bit fruity smell, some musty old wood in the background. Taste starts with intensive vermouth, medical. A little bit more malt in the second part. Dry bitterness to the end. Not really my cup of tea.

Säuerlicher, sehr trockener Beginn. Mild hopfig, erkennbar nach Wermut, trocken, speziell. Der Hopfen bleibt moderat, trocken, trotz der kurzen Lagerung ist der Wermut überdeutlich erkennbar. Langer trockener Abgang. 10/9/8/9/10/9
