Clear and golden with a frothy white head and marmalade and brown sugar on the nose. Sweet and malty up front, quite boozy, sharp with just a tiny hint of bitterness and a dry finish

Bottle picked up from REWE, Eltville and consumed at our accommodation Gutshotel Baron Knyphausen (Winery), Wednesday 25th May 2022 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music. Pours deep gold/light amber in colour with a mid sized white head, good clarity. Malty on nose and in the mouth, it's far too sweet, chewy, some biscuit. Soft moutheel, it's fine but hardly exciting me.

Deep gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of honey and mixed grains. Taste is mildly honey sweet most of the way through, turning somewhat at the end with a noticeable herbal bitterness. Medium bodied, mostly mild carbonation. Not bad.

Süffiger, hell malzig herber Beginn. Getreide, angenehm milde Süße, spritzig. Leicht unterdurchschnittliche Karbonisierung, eher trocken. Alkoholisch, mittellanger Abgang. Gut. 10/9/12/11/11/11

04-10-19 // 500ml on tap at Eulchen Brauerei Clear golden. Malty smooth. Sweetish malty. Mild honey sweetness. Cereal grainy sweet. For me too sweet but a good style representation to be a smooth Oktoberfestbierbock.
