Can. Dark brown with not much of a head. Aroma has hints of molasses and dark roasted grains. Taste is sweet but not much in the way of a stout.

16oz. Poured a dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was chocolate, roast. Flavor was very light malts, sweetness, light herbal hop. There's a bit of a metallic aroma, which is a slightly off-putting period flavor is nice light roast.

50cl can from the Costco Advent box, pours a rootbeer brown with some clingy beige head. Funny, I tasted this and then left it about 30min before I rated. When i came back to it, I thought it was far worse. Lots of dates and raisins on the nose, candy sugar, almost would have thought this was a dunkel or maybe even a weizenbock if I tried this blind. The roastiness is lacking. Flavor too, really just toffee and dried fruit. Sweet finish. This is a miss for me. Needs some rounded edges.
Can. Pours a dark brown hue with a tan head. A big malty nose. Chocolate, ash, lots of sweet malts. Smooth. Enjoyable.

Can from the advent calendar. Dark brown with orange tints and a low head. Nose is German malt,Munich and carapils. Lots of fruity esters. Smells like a dunkel. Flavor also caramel, raisin, orange, bread. Like a dunkler bock really. Not roasted. I like it, but it’s no stout.

Day 5: Schwarze Tinte Collab Stout 6% I kind of feel this is midway between a Stout and a schwarzbier. Ruddy reddish brown pour with thick bubbles of beige foam. The aroma to me says oats and caramel. Very Guinness stout like. The taste is similar, medium to full bodied and smooth but not with a caramel oat cookie flavor.
