Draught @ Beer Ditch, Nobelvägen 24, Malmö, Sweden 214 27 - [ during RBESG15 ]. [ As Brekeriet Maschusch ].Unclear medium orange yellow color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, elderflowers, tart, earthy, grapes, manure, funky. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, elderflowers, grapes, light earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150821]

Bottle. Light hazy golden liquid with small white head. Aroma of lemon, elderflowers, apple skin, light grain, light acetic acid and mango. Taste is dry and medium sour with notes of elderflowers, lemon, light apple and light mango. Light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Super good. Lots of elderflower. Reminds me of Mamouche.

(750ml bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Sept 10 2015) Pours hazy dark gold with a moderate white head and some lace. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, elderflowers, hay, leathery oak, a bit of barnyard and some bready notes. Palate has sour citrusy core of grapefruit, lemon and lime, bright elderflower florals, a tart berry note, leather from the oak, fresh grass and a bit of funkier wet hay and a hint of Mamouche-esque pickle. Finish contains lots of elderflower, citrus peels, hay, a bit of wet earth, tart and semi-dry. Medium bodied with fairly light carbonation. Really lovely one from Brekeriet, elderflower quality up front but lots of fruity notes and balanced funk to round it out. Very drinkable with big flavour concentration.

Bottle @ Haket. Pours very hazy vibrant yellow with a small white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is heavy floral, slightly fruity and slightly funky with crackers, white bread, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, peaches, elderflowers, hay, minerals, barnyard, leather, kumquats and lemon zest. Taste is sour, floral, slightly fruity and slightly funky. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, mouthpuckering and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, unripe mango, elderberries, hay, dry soil, barnyard, kumquats and lemon zest. Citric acid forward elderflower sour. Really tasty with mouthpuckering acidity and pleasant leather funk. If crooked stave made an elderflower sour this would most likely be it. Love it!

On tap at Akkurat. Hazy golden with a small white head. Fresh aroma of elderflowers, some citrus and hints of hay. Similar taste. Also some lime. Nicely tart and with a dry finish. A refreshing and tasty one.

Keg at Beer Ditch, Malmo, 21/08/15. Hazed orange golden with a moderately appointed off white cap. Nose is spice, mango, green pepper, soured fruit mash, earthy tropicana. Taste comprises subtle green chilli, brett, soured lemon, damp straw, farmy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid sour, plenty of depth for the ABV.
