Für unseren AP verwenden wir den Roten Berlepsch, die Goldparmäne und die Gewürzluike von alten Bäumen geerntet. Schonend gepresst, lassen wir den abfließenden Saft durch die Kälte aufkonzentrieren. Um die natürliche Süße und intensive Fruchtigkeit zu bewahren, stoppen wir die beginnende Gärung mit hochprozentigem reinen Apfelbrand ab, sodass wir einen Alkoholgehalt von rund alc. 24% vol erhalten. Es folgt eine mindestens 24 monatige Lagerung, die dem AP die Reifung im Kastanienholzfass erlaubt. So kann sich der Duft von reifen Äüfeln und Vanille entwickeln, ohne das Holz in dn Vordergund zu stellen. Durch die oxidative Reifung verliert der AP rund 20% des Alkohols und ein Achtel der anfänglichen Füllmenge im Fass.

ABV: 18.0%. Clear medium orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy apple, sweet apples, concentrated, intense, apple pie, portwine barrel - oak - wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, apple, rich, boozy, concentrated, intense, portwine barrel - oak - wood, apple pie. Body is medium full, texture is syrupy - creamy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20190927]

Bottle sample. A clear amber colour. Aroma of intense strong and sweet caramelized apples, honey. Taste of heavy strong apples, wood, caramel, boozy and sticky.

Spritziger, leicht alkoholischer und säuerlicher Beginn von Apfel. Spritzig, intensiv fruchtig, vollmundig, süß säuerlicher Mittelteil. Spritzig, langer fruchtiger Nachhall, ausgewogen. 10/13/13/13//13

Wee bottle. Deep golden, alcohol legs, some viscosity. Applebrandy entry, dry applepeel, siruppy notes. Deep sweet apple notes, a hint boozy, then sweetness, spice, applebarrel, long lastin apple and white port note retronasal. Nice!

Taster at borefts. Pours deep orange amber, nose is apple, raisin, cinnamon, taste is similar, quite sweet.

Bottle. Deep amber color with white head. Aroma is red apples, Bratapfel, candied apples, wood. Taste is bratapfel, candied stuff, very nice fruitiness, barrel sugars, light warming booze. Very viscous mouthfeel, awesome stuff!
