12 oz bottle purchased as a single at the Trader Joe’s in South Bend, Indiana. The pour is an opaque black with a bit of brown and a one inch light tan head that falls quickly. The aroma is coffee roast, caramel malt and a hint of milk sweetness. The taste is the bright malt caramel sweet, roast char and the milkiness is there as well. The palate is medium to heavy bodied with soft carbonation and a char drier finish.

Pours near black pour with a one finger tan head. It has a roast malt and coffee aroma. The flavor has ample coffee character and minimal bourbon. Medium bodied. It’s a pretty good stout but I was expecting more than that.

Bottle I guess, thanks Mowbeer for sharing! Pitch black, creammy off whtie head I think. Good aroma in general, coffee, some barrel oaky notes going towards buttery, subdued maltiness. Lean, creamy taste, coffee dominant, some oak, light alcohol, some roastiness. Good stuff!
