Coffee, chocolate malt, bourbon, and fresh hay aroma. Black with small brown head. Mildly sweet coffee, chocolate malt, bourbon, and mild bitter hay flavor. Good body and balance. Nice - on the dry side.

Bottle. A- Roasty, earthy, cocoa, light bourbon. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Roasty, earthy, mild espresso, cocoa, subtle oak. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- This was a beer that you would forget you had 5 minutes after you've had it. Not bad but very unimpressive. In fact, I like the non-imperial stout version of this way better. Pretty run of the mill stout with a touch of earthy coffee.
