»V zmerno izraziti, mogoče celo rahlo zadržani aromi prevladujejo note agrumov, poleg njih pa svoje opravi še nekaj tonov sveže trave, ki je rahlo bolj usmerjena na kiselkasto stran. Okus medtem zaznamuje srednje izrazita hmeljna grenkoba, ki ji oporo nudi blaga sladna hrbtenica v ozadju. Svoje okusu doda še nežen limonasti priokus, na koncu pa še mil sladki dodatek, ki se pojavi po nekaj uvodnih požirkih. Grenkoba, ki ni bila pretirana, pa z veseljem še nekaj časa postane v naših ustih.«
Naša klasika je srednje lahkega telesa, deluje osvežilno in sveže, kot je značilno za piva stila APA (American Pale Ale). S svojo grenkobo ne deluje preagresivno, obenem pa ni prenežno. HopsBrew Pale Ale je mojstrsko zaokroženo, všečno pivo.

Cask (Sir William's, Ljubljana) - Golden with a white head. Grapefruit and notes of lychees in the aroma. Grapefruit, tea and some notes of peach and biscuity malt in the taste. Almost reminds me of Dark Star Hophead of old.

Bottled@HBF2018. Slightly hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some nectar and mild wooden notes. Flavour is wooden, floral, some mild toffee and a bit grassy too. Smooth and somewhat bitter too.

From cask at Sir William’s Pub, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Clear golden. Decent white head and lacing. Moderate aroma of orange and madsrin zest. Slightly oxidized taste of pale malt, marmalade and sherry.

Grass, mango, passion fruit, same caramel, pine, very fresh. Dry, lightly bitter.

On cask at Lajbah, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, with a stale cardboard character. Flavour is a bit stale, with cardboard, earthy hops and light biscuity notes. Tastes stale and off-coloured. No good.

Fuity orange juice kicks this off, floral aroma with just a hint of cracker. Brown body with slight fog and some head. Flavour is charred orange, some wood. Weak on the mouth and watery. Okay pale ale but needs more presence.
