St-Louis Premium Framboise is based on a lambic and contains juice from Willamette raspberries. This sweet raspberry beer tastes delicious on a sunny day and is a perfect beer for anyone who doesn’t like strong beers.

Bottle at a tourist trap at grade place, Brussels. Very sweet, fruit syrup brew, couldn’t pick up much more lambic apart from on the label.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Pours a dark red colour with minimal off white head. Aroma of raspberry, sharp to the taste with a medium sourness and slight salty finish. Medium body, average carbonation.

0,25L bottle, BB 03.2016. Pours deep red with pink head. The head stays. Aroma is very sweet, some sourness and intense raspberry juice. Flavor is very sweet with some sourness, syrupy, soapy, metallic notes. Carbonation is high. Overall: not really good, too sweet and flavor feels artificial.

Very artificial framboise based on Van Honsebrouck’s Western Flemish lambic, sugared and sweetened, purple red, grenadine, elderberry syrup, that horrible lemonade-like ascorbic acid again and cloyingly sweet finish with just a bit of tartness, but not enough to balance out the syrupy sweetness. These fruit beers surely have an audience, but I never belonged to it.

Another "Lambic treat" from Beers of Europe.... From bottle. It pours deep red/ruby with a small light pink head. The nose is sweet pungent raspberry, cream soda and plenty of artificial/candy sort of malarkey. The taste is pretty daymn sweet, tangy-sweet raspberry, candy, fruit syrup and boiled sweets etc with a sweet finish. Light+ body, average carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. A bit of tang makes it sort of bearable. Betetr than the "premium" peche sort of...

Keg. Appearance- light pinky red, one finger white head which persists. Aroma- fruity, zest hints, strawberry dominates though. Taste- lots of strawberry, sugary sweetness, a little cloying. A bit too much sweetness but still very drinkable.
