St-Louis Premium Framboise is based on a lambic and contains juice from Willamette raspberries. This sweet raspberry beer tastes delicious on a sunny day and is a perfect beer for anyone who doesn’t like strong beers.

Bottle. Pours with a deep, bloody red to concord grape hued body with a large and lasting pink/off-white head. Aromas are quite sweet, but their is a strong acidity as well (not sure if it is the fruit or something added after). Somewhat vibrant, fresh raspberry aroma. Light sulfur, smells a bit tart, all raspberry. Obviously no funk on this neutered lambic. Flavors are cloyingly sweet. Raspberry syrup. I bet this would go great on ice cream, but I feel like I am getting diabetes from drinking this. Syrupy. Raspberry character is actually decent. Would also make a decent mixer. No funk. Syrupy and sweet mouthfeel which adds to a fuller body, medium carbonation.

250 ml bottle. Pours a bright clear red with a pink head. Nose and taste both strong raspberry. Tends towards a cooler as opposed to a beer.Best when cold.

Red with a pink head. Aroma is very sweet and loads of artificial raspberry. Flavor is sweet and light acidic. Finish is light acidic and sweet. The artificial raspberry and sweetness is overwhelming, and only the light acidic touch creates some sort of balance and saves this from an even lower rating. 051210

25cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Really strong aroma of raspberries coming off it. Sweetish alcopop style beer. Sweet raspberry syrup. No bad flavours, but way too sweet.
