Bottle. Hazy straw gold with an inch of white head. Aroma of Meyer lemons, oranges, nectarines, dough, white pepper, the usual moderate funk. Light bodied, high carbonation. This time the hops don’t much get in the way of the normal saison, but just add more of a fruity and floral (elderflower) twist to the finishing bitterness. Slightly earthy there too. Very good, much better than the 2015.

F: big, white, good retention. C: gold, hazy. A: malt, pears, peppery, grassy, light orange, yeast, hint of barnyard, floral. T: malt, fruity, peach, peppery, spicy, grassy, hint of orange, medium body, high carbonation, good balanced and tasty, 0,375l bottle from Prik&Tik Kampenhout.

From tap, at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours pale golden with fine white head. Aroma is floral, somehow reminiscent of geuze. Body is light. Taste has low sweetness, no bitterness and some sourness. Dry finish.

Draught at Moeder Lambic, very hazy citrus orange color, stable thick bubbly head, druity biscuity aroma with some candy in the back and an earthy hint, flavor of waffle and almond, fruity sourness light to medium herbal bitterness. Very nice.

75CL. Split two ways. Golden orange. 2 finger very dense egg colored head. Smells fantastic. Rustic, very sweet, earthy. Lots of raw wheat and lemon skins aroma. First flavor is akin to a lager, wheat, lemon, banana, brown sugar. Earthy finish. Really excellent carbonation. Sweet finish with pine cone. Good batch.

Draft at The Sovereign. Poured a golden color with a small white head. Aroma was light floral hop notes, light sweet malts. Flavor was light, slight hay notes, floral finish. Tasty.

Tap into a wineglass showing moderately filtered honey with sparse white foam. The nose shows sweet malts. The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Clean malts with light flavors of banana and a hoppy bitterness on the finish.

gouden met volle witte kraag. aroma van gras, kruiden, fris, citrus, stro, typische saison dupont gist. Smaken zijn redelijk bitter, gras, redelijk droog, matig zoet, witte peper, meloen, sprankelend, flink gras hoppig.
